Technical Sales Engineer/Project Manager (Norway)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in achieving our strategic goals and ensuring that our customers perceive NOR as a serious supplier that is uncompromising on quality. The position reports to Commercial Manager

Key responsibilities

• Send sales and rental quotes, follow up on contracts.
• Ensure all documentation is sent before project start.
• Learn the use, service, and maintenance of rental equipment.
• Proactively develop business with new and existing customers.
• Drive sales and seek new opportunities.
• Organize client meetings
• Participate in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) work.
• Coordinate with suppliers for cross-hires and purchases.
• Attend client meetings and exhibitions.

Competence Requirements:

• Relevant education in subsea operations, engineering, or mechanical degree.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• Good communication and CRM skills.
• Confident in using English as working language

The primary objectives for this role are to ensure all deliveries meet NOR standards and are timely, plan and coordinate deliveries with technical and logistics departments according to purchase orders and client communication, understand and meet client specifications and expectations, respond promptly to all client RFQs, manage time effectively to meet sales targets and maintain good margins on rental and sales contracts.
