Solutions Engineer (NORWAY)

We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented Solutions Engineer to support the planning, documentation, and delivery of our technical solutions. 

As a Solutions Engineer at NOR Offshore Rental, you will play a key role in ensuring that our projects are well-planned, properly documented, and executed to a high standard. You will be involved throughout the delivery process, with a particular focus on planning, documentation, procedures, and follow-up. 

You will join a dedicated solutions team and work closely with colleagues across the organization, as well as customers, to turn requirements into practical and well-executed solutions. 

Responsibilities 

• Contribute to the development and execution of technical solutions 

• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure efficient and high-quality deliveries 

• Translate customer needs and internal requirements into structured plans and tasks 

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (manuals, procedures, MRB) 

• Ensure quality and consistency in documentation and project deliverables 

• Plan and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) 

• Support problem-solving and continuous improvement in projects 

• Follow up tasks from planning through execution and completion 

Qualifications 

• Relevant technical education or practical experience 

• Experience with technical work, documentation, or project support is an advantage 

• Structured and detail-oriented with strong execution ability 

• Ability to translate ideas into practical solutions 

• Strong collaboration and communication skills 

• Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks 

• Curious and motivated to learn and develop 

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
