As COO, you will play a key role in realizing our potential – by developing shared structures, work practices, and processes that enable the company to operate as one unified organization. The position requires the ability to understand how operations must adapt in step with new markets, technological developments, and customer needs. You will have overall responsibility for how NOR plans, executes, and improves operational performance – and for ensuring that the organization is set up for profitable and sustainable growth, both now and in the future.
Responsibilities:

Lead and further develop operational activities across countries, locations, and services – with a focus on quality, efficiency, safety, and sustainability

Ensure shared structures, processes, and working methods for cohesive and coordinated operations

Drive improvement, standardization, and professionalization of operations – in close collaboration with local operational teams

Monitor operational performance through relevant KPIs and identify areas for improvement

Contribute to a healthy balance between local flexibility and global coordination in the operating model

Work closely with the CCO and other key functions to ensure that operations support commercial goals and customer requirements
Desired Qualifications:

Strong business acumen and the ability to develop operations in line with new markets and needs – with clear goals, employee involvement, and systematic follow-up

Solid operational leadership experience from international business, preferably from the offshore or subsea industry

Proven track record in improvement work and efficiency measures, with the ability to build robust structures and systems that function across locations

A relationship-oriented leader who builds trust and collaboration across disciplines, cultures, and geographic boundaries

Exercises leadership with confidence and clarity, balancing structure, pace, and cultural awareness in interactions with both people and the organization

Higher education in technical subjects, economics, management, or equivalent
